About the Founder

My name is Bekele Atakilt, I am a professionally trained tour guide with formal education in Tour Guiding and a university degree in Business Management. This combination allows me to deliver travel experiences that are both well-organized and deeply engaging.

My journey in tourism began in Gondar, where I worked as a local guide and developed a strong understanding of Ethiopia’s history, culture, and heritage. Over time, I expanded my role to become a national tour organizer and guide, leading travelers across the country and introducing them to Ethiopia’s diverse destinations.

Through years of hands-on experience, I have built strong expertise in tour planning, guiding, and customer service. These skills form the foundation of Get Omo Valley Tours.

Today, my goal is to share the authentic beauty of Ethiopia especially the Omo Valley with travelers from around the world, ensuring every journey is safe, meaningful, and truly unforgettable.
